Motherhood is often praised…

many mothers are carrying a silent weight:

Exhaustion that never fully goes away.

Guilt that lingers no matter how much they try.

Pressure to be everything — and still feel like they are falling short.

“You should be more patient.”

“You should be more present.”

“You should do better.”

Everyone seems to have something to say.

But what people don’t see…

are the sacrifices made in silence,

the du’as whispered in the dark,

and the constant effort to hold everything together.

In this deeply reflective session,

we will uncover the reality of motherhood

through the lens of the Qur’an and Sunnah.

We will explore:

- Why guilt has become a constant companion for many mothers

- The emotional and mental exhaustion that is often dismissed

- The unseen sacrifices that Allah values, even when people don’t

- And how to begin seeing yourself through Allah’s mercy, not people’s expectations

This is not just for mothers.

It is for:

- anyone who feels unseen, unappreciated, or overwhelmed

- daughters who want to understand their mothers

- husbands who want to honour their wives better

Because the motherhood people judge…

may be the very thing Allah is honouring the most. ❤️
