SHAMEEM SULTANAH
Ustazah Shameem Sultanah Abdul Gaffoor is a motivational Islamic speaker and the Founder of ILMHUB by Shameem Sultanah with more than a decade of experience engaging with the community from all walks of life.
Since 2010, she has conducted hundreds of talks and classes in English, Malay and Bahasa Indonesia physically and online and is often engaged by various organisations, mosques to conduct talks to the public and even to our local inmates.

Ustazah has been invited to numerous talks with international speakers namely from USA, Indonesia and Malaysia.
​
She is ARS (Asatizah Recognition Scheme) certified, a certification required for Asatizah to teach Islam in Singapore.
​
She is also a Registration Officer for Conversion at the Muslim Converts Association of Singapore where she has facilitated numerous conversions for the community.She aims to inspire and motivate Muslims and especially the new Muslims and those grasping to understand Islam to strengthen their faith and connection with God which will empower them to find their strengths from within so that they can overcome struggles and adversities in life.
HER BACKGROUND
Despite being in a national school till her ‘O’ Levels, her desire to learn more about the Quran and the Arabic Language made her embark on her journey to seek Islamic knowledge and the Arabic Language from scratch at the age of 17 in a well-known school in East Java, Indonesia, Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Gontor where she graduated a with a Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies in just 2 and a half years.
She then pursued her B.A. in Islamic Jurisprudence (Syari'ah Islamiah) in the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.
Thereafter, she pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology in Lee Community College in Singapore, equipping her with the necessary skills to address some of the concerns the community have.

She is currently studying her Master’s in Psychology at London Metropolitan University with the aim of understanding the Islamic teachings deeper from the psychological perspective.
